Autism Quality of Life was founded by Dr. Teri Krakovich. She is the proud sister of an adult who is diagnosed with Autism.
Dr. K. has a strong desire to help her brother and others like him to live their lives to the fullest.
The Autism Landscape is changing, and it is Dr. K.’s mission to share the existing programs, services, and resources with YOU, so that you can share them with your loved ones to improve the quality of their lives.
Dr. K. earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis and has been working with individuals diagnosed with ASD for 10+ years. She has researched topics such as interventions for adults with Autism, the psychosocial outcomes of sibling and parent caregivers, and the factors promoting retention for direct support professionals.
She has presented her work at national and international conferences and has published abstracts and peer-reviewed articles. Dr. K. is a certified PEERS(R) provider and conducts individual and group therapy. She also consults in schools, private practice clinics, and in residential settings to promote best practices that improve quality of life for individuals with ASD.
